More Than Fireworks: A 4th of July Reminder
Share
There’s something sacred about watching the sky light up in color.
But even the brightest fireworks fade.
You? You carry a Light that never burns out.
Today we celebrate freedom, but not just the kind wrapped in red, white, and blue.
We celebrate the freedom that death couldn’t defeat.
The kind bought not with battleships or declarations, but with a cross and an empty tomb.
So wave your flag.
Hug your family.
Eat the watermelon.
But don’t forget who you are.
You're a daughter of the King.
You are free.
You are radiant.
And this world needs the kind of light only He can put inside you.
Let your joy be louder than the fireworks tonight.
Let your faith be bolder than fear.
Let this Independence Day remind you:
Freedom in Christ isn’t just something we celebrate, it’s something we live out daily.
