Faithfulness > Fireworks: Why Showing Up Still Matters

Let’s be real... some weeks I’m reading my Bible, journaling, praying, feeling close to God. Other weeks? I’m lucky if I say “hey God” before bed and scroll my phone for an hour.

If you’ve been there too, you’re not alone. And you’re not a bad Christian.
You’re human.

We all go through ups and downs in our faith. Some seasons feel exciting and full of clarity. Other seasons feel dry, quiet, or confusing and you start wondering if something’s wrong with you.

Here’s the truth: God isn’t disappointed in you.
He doesn’t measure your walk with Him by how emotional or motivated you feel. He values your consistency, even when it’s imperfect.

“We walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Faith isn’t always going to feel powerful. It’s built in the quiet, everyday moments.
You might not feel anything when you read Scripture or pray, but when you show up anyway? That’s when your roots grow deeper.

So if you’re in a dry season, don’t give up.
Read one verse. Whisper one prayer. Just keep showing up.
God’s still right there and He cares more about your heart than your performance.
