💗 Love doesn’t have to be confusing… and you’re not crazy for wondering.
If you’ve ever asked “Is he the one?” and felt torn between butterflies and red flags, you’re not alone. Discernment in dating isn’t always obvious. Sometimes it’s a quiet nudge, a missing peace, or a hesitation you can’t explain. God doesn’t expect you to figure it out alone. He invites you to seek Him in the process.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding…” — Proverbs 3:5
You don’t have to force clarity. God is not the author of confusion. If something feels off, you don’t need to talk yourself out of your own discernment. Peace is a form of confirmation.
💐 God cares about your heart and your future
You were never meant to settle for something that just looks good on paper. God sees the big picture (your calling, your purpose, your long-term joy). He isn’t trying to withhold love; He’s trying to protect it.
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” — Psalm 37:4
God’s best will never require you to abandon yourself, silence your voice, or shrink to stay chosen. The right relationship will reflect God’s character, not just chemistry.
🌷 You don’t have to rush to find answers
Sometimes we confuse waiting with wasting time, but they’re not the same. If you’re in a season of uncertainty, it might be because God is revealing what you couldn’t see at first. Clarity often comes slowly, through prayer, wise counsel, and time.
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him…” — Psalm 37:7
You don’t have to pressure yourself to figure it all out today. If he’s really the one, you won’t miss him by taking your time. God can confirm what’s from Him and protect you from what’s not.
