💗 Exhaustion can feel like an endless weight
Maybe it’s the late nights of overthinking, the long days of responsibilities, or the constant pressure to keep up with everything and everyone. You feel drained (physically, emotionally, and spiritually). The thought of rest feels impossible when the world keeps demanding more from you.
But Scripture reminds us that rest is not weakness. It’s a gift from God. He never intended for you to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

💐 God invites you to pause
In a culture that glorifies busyness, slowing down feels uncomfortable. But God calls you to be still, to step away from the noise, and to find refreshment in His presence.
“He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God.’” — Psalm 46:10
Rest isn’t about doing nothing. It’s about letting God renew your strength. When you pause, you’re reminded that He is in control, not you.
🌷 Rest is holy
From the very beginning, God modeled rest. On the seventh day of creation, He stopped and declared it holy. If the Creator of the universe chose rest, why do we believe we can run without it?
“By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing. So on the seventh day he rested from all his work.” — Genesis 2:2
Rest is not laziness. It’s obedience. It’s choosing to trust that God can hold everything together, even when you step back.

You don’t have to do it all. God is your strength.
You don’t have to earn rest. Jesus already carried the burden.
You don’t have to run on empty. God longs to fill you up.
